April Fool!!

You can regard me as a humourless, kill-joy if you want but I'm just gonna say what I think anyway. Now year in year out, on the first day of April people of Earth engage in a certain archaic backward behaviour for lack of a more articulatory word. April fools day, the concept as a whole just does not make a lot of sense to me, I just don't get it. The point of a prank I assume is to use the element of surprise as a tool in tricking a person, problem is, there is no element of surprise on the 1st of April as only a fool would be surprised to be pranked on the first of April. In place of this surprise element, which is obviously missing, the people of Earth decide to increase the intensity of these pranks, and that's where I have a massive problem. I just think certain things are too serious to be played with. Death for instance, that's something that's being used more and more as a prank as these years wind in. The life of a human is too important to be pranked with. As I said, you can call me a humourless twat if you want.. On a lighter note, some of these pranks are really nice, and makes for a good laugh. My advice - keep it as simple as possible. There's still some time, go on... Switch that sugar for salt and laugh as whoever asks for a cup of tea drinks the salt-ridden tea. Happy April fool's day, I guess. Till next time, keep dreaming!!
