Thomas Carlyle once said "the first duty of a man is to conquer fear, he must get rid of it, he cannot act till then".
Fear is perhaps the greatest reason why we do not go through with what we have planned. Buh what are we really afraid of? I can tell you, we're afraid of a lot of things. You seize to be a man on the day you stop being afraid of something. The fear of failure, it's perhaps one fear that appeals to everyone, nobody wants to fail, failure is one of man's greatest enemies. But someone once wrote "make failure your teacher, not your undertaker" the fact that you fail at some point in your life does not really make you a failure, what makes you a failure is your refusal to try again - once you become receptive to failure rather than being belligerent to it, you're well on your way to getting defeated by it. Regard failure as a foe, your worst enemy, two options exist, either you're defeated by it or you defeat it. A weak man capitulates in the face of fear, a strong man is challenged by it.. WHO ARE YOU???
"In order to learn the important lessons of life, one must each day, surmount a fear" Ralph Waldo.
Till next time, keep dreaming.
