“Words are like eggs dropped from great heights; you can no more call them back than ignore the mess they leave when they fall.”
― Jodi Picoult
Words are two edged, they could break hearts, and they could make a persons day. Painful words or verbal insults directed at us tears us apart, it doesn't really matter who you think you are, negative words pierce our hearts and causes us to grieve.
Every negative word is a potential deadly weapon, it does not, necessarily injure a person, physically, what it does is to scar a persons psyche. As this process continues, the receptive individual gets this idea about himself and thus becomes your words. The words we speak to others are as those we speak to ourselves. Words live everlasting, indelible impressions, doesn't matter if you meant it or not.
All of these takes us back to the need to watch what we say, if you have nothing nice to say, then do not say anything, it's not being polite, it's being human. Be kind to other people around you in order to get them to be nice to you, nice words give us pleasant feelings and makes us happy. Try to watch your mouth and don't say anything that will tear a person apart.
"Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear"
Till next time,, Keep dreaming!!
